Removing your stock ignition will also free up valuable space for steering dampers and lap timers. The things you need go in the space you save. There is no longer a need for keys. The best thing about our Key Switch Eliminator is the ability to simply "Plug and Play". It installs in seconds and requires no modifications to your stock harness - no need to cut any wires! This means easy re-installation of stock components down the road.
** 1. The immobilizer is located in the housing mounted on top of the ignition switch by 2 Torx fasteners. Remove the Torx fasteners from the immobilizer sensor housing to separate it from the ignition switch. 2. Insert the key into the sensor. Secure the key in place- using electrical tape or similar. The immobilizer can now be reconnected and installed on the motorcycle. 5. The key switch elimination harness can now be installed. The smaller 2 pin connector with the 2 blue wires will not be plugged in for models with an immobilizer. **
